The Ministry of Human Resources announced the implementation of new control measures to ensure that the decision to ban work under high temperature is implemented for workers, who work under the sun and in open places.
The Minister of Human Resources has recently issued a decision not to exceed the workers’ stay at their work sites after 12:30 a.m. and to prohibit the resumption of work before 3 pm from mid-June to 15 September.
This resolution, which is in force for the fourth year in a row, requires employers who hire workers to provide them with a shady place to rest during their period of rests.
Meanwhile, many reports confirm the growing phenomenon of workers, who work under the sun in many institutions and companies in the UAE, in violation of the decision to prevent work in the afternoon in light of the authorities' laxness in providing a safe working environment from risks and accidents that threaten the health and safety of workers.
