The suspension of doctors' strike in Mauritania: Will the government adhere to serious negotiations and end tension?

The Mauritanian doctors decided to suspend their strike for two weeks in order to have the opportunity of serious negotiations that the authorities have committed to deal with to settle the pending social and professional demands, after that a group of mediators intervened to bring doctors and the government closer together and secure a new round of negotiations. Everyone hopes that the government will be responsible and that serious negotiations will lead to positive results and end tension and congestion in the health sector of the country.

The doctors who have been on a general strike for about a month and a half are asking for the improvement of their professional conditions in hospitals and the raise the level of health service provided to citizens.
