The Houthi militia officially recognizes the exclusion of 25000 state employees and continues to cut salaries

Al-Watan News reported that the Minister of Civil Service appointed by the Al-Houthi militia admitted to the exclusion of 25,000 state employees in “Sanaa” and the provinces under their control during the last period.

This move comes in preparation for the recruitment of elements loyal to the Houthis and provide them with half of the salary promised to employees working in the areas of control after the cessation of payment of salaries over 20 months.

According to media sources, Al-Houthi group launched a large campaign to dismiss thousands of government employees in the context of what they called the process of "cleaning the salary" of the opposition and those expelled from their work and fleeing from them and people from the southern provinces, which has so far reached 83 government agencies, according to an official statement of the Houthis.

It is noteworthy that the Houthis are still reluctant to pay the salaries of employees while continuing to collect large amounts of institutions of the state under its control.
