The workers of “Jalta” hotel in Bizerte governorate have been raising the red badge since Tuesday in protest against the owner's intention to violate the trade union right and ignore the implementation of the terms of the joint agreement of the hotel.
Our sources confirmed that the owner of the institution insists on the non-payment of the workers’ delayed financial dues and we are about to reach Eid al-Fitr.
It is expected that workers will escalate in their protest movements in the next few days, in coordination with the Regional Labour Union of Bizerte to ask for better living conditions and respect for the ongoing work legislations.
