The Libyan newspaper reported that the employees of the Libyan Ports Company, in the port of Benghazi in “Jejlaneh”, complain about the difficult financial conditions because of the non-payment of their delayed salaries.
The workers issued a statement in which they stressed their keenness to perform their work appropriately. "They worked according to the public interest and the national duty. They did not stop working during the “Qanfouda” war, as their mechanisms and headquarters were destroyed" they said. Clarifying that they have made strenuous efforts to repair the mechanisms and restore the buildings and headquarters.
The employees revealed that their salaries had been suspended despite continuing the work and opening the Benghazi seaport, asking for their rights and salaries, and implementing the promises of the interim Prime Minister to end their suffering.
