The rescue of 152 migrants on the coast of Libya, including Tunisians, Algerians and Sudanese

A patrol of the coast guard in Tripoli rescued 152 irregular migrants, last Saturday, including 19 women and three children aboard rubber boats; one of them was sinking.

The irregular migrants are from different African nationalities from 11 countries, including Algeria, Tunisia and Sudan, according to the official spokesman of the Libyan navy.

The Libyan official said that the security patrol found a Libyan oil tanker for help until the arrival of the patrol boat, which rescued all migrants, and then were transferred to the Tripoli naval base. After providing them with humanitarian and medical assistance they were handed over to the irregular immigration control center " Tajoura ".
