The employees of the “Structuring program” and the executive branch of Kuwait are expected to enter into a strike during the coming period, in protest against the decision of their integration with the public authority for manpower and the non-meeting of their demands
Last week, the workers of the "Structuring program" launched a media campaign called "No to Integration" to reject the step that made a qualitative progress with the participation of some MPs.
According to the observers, the strike launched by the employees would affect the payment of workers, including 60 thousand citizens working in the private sector. The allowances allocated to the groups associated with the program are expected to be spent before the holidays of Eid al-Fitr, thus, a delay in payment.
In this regard, the Secretary of the workers’ union in the private sector and the Vice-President of the union of cooperatives, “Jamal Al-Fadhli”, said that the decision to integrate the "Structuring program " workers with the public authority for manpower is a backward step, which represents a danger to the payment of workers’ bonuses in the coming days.
