The Egyptian dramas’ works, during the first half of Ramadan have angered the Egyptian organizations and associations defending women's rights because of the violent messages directed against the Egyptian women.
Moreover, some Facebook pages launched large-scale campaigns against some of the Ramadan dramas that have contributed to spreading the concept of women's abuse and their humiliation.
The report of the Egyptian National Council for Women in Egypt on the image of women in the Egyptian drama during the first half of Ramadan revealed the presence of some abuses against women.
Most of the violations were in the use of negative artistic images against women through ‘demonizing’ them with moral arguments, in addition to the use of foul words and sexual insults for humiliation in several series.
