In the national bureau of the cultural palace in "Adrar" in Algeria: poor working conditions and foreseeable protests

Our union sources informed us that the employees of the national bureau of the cultural palace in "Adrar" will enter in protest movements in the next few days to express their rejection and dissatisfaction with the harsh and bad working conditions in the institution.

These protests came after the administration’s refusal to talk to the employees regarding several points, which are related to the improvement of the employees’ working and the improvement of the level of services provided by the institution.

The employees protest against the administration’s non-compliance with the decisions of the appeals committee to reintegrate an isolated employee and the non-structuring of the institution’s interests, despite the 7 years after the establishment of the bureau and the execution of the successive penalties for employees by cutting from their monthly salary by collecting the hours and days of absenteeism for several months and cut them in one month. In addition, they would not be informed about the effectiveness points and its methods of evaluation.

They also complain that they did not benefit from the promotion in ranks, on the grounds of the absence of the financial positions resulting from the austerity policy, adopted by the Algerian government, which is contrary to the other cultural institutions, whose employees benefit from time to time of the promotion, after benefiting from their new financial positions. In fact, the employees did not benefit from promotion in ranks for nearly four years.
