Dozens of union committee candidates gathered, in the beginning of this week, in front of the Election Commission at the Manpower Directorate at the Equestrian Hall at Cairo Football Stadium.
Our sources stated that a number of members of the trade union committees gathered in front of the Election Commission in protest against the delay in the issuance of the final statements of the trade union committees of the Ministry of Manpower, as the final statements of candidates were supposed be announced on last Monday morning, in accordance with the law of trade union organizations and its executive regulations, which was considered by the protesters as an explicit violation of the law.
