Tunisia- the local coordinator of the corral workers said that about 59,000 workers will sit-in; to demand to regularize their status, similar to what occurred with the Corrals workers in 2011, this is because the government ignored their legitimate demands that are included in the list dated 09/10/2016.
The protesters will begin to gather in front of the headquarters of the local labor unions, then move on to the rest of the provinces, followed by a series of open strikes.
The coordinator assured, that the governments had pledged to root out all forms of weak operating teams, and the settlement of the status of all workers, wages as well as health insurances, which was not implemented.
The Corral workers insist on their demands Implementation, and are describing them as “just and fair whatever the sacrifices might be.
