Algeria – Municipal workers will gather tomorrow to set the date for the start of their national strike, which is repeated twice a month for three days, in addition to marches and vigils.
This comes after the refusal of the commandments to open the door of communication with them for more than a year, taking the policy of escaping forward a solution to that.
After months of strikes, vigils and national rallies, municipal workers decided to escalate the tone in the coming days in order to force the authorities to open a dialogue with them, especially after they entered a two-month strike lasting three days at a national level. Where they dealt with the policy of escaping forward without opening the door of dialogue with them every time they went out to the street, but on the contrary, they deducted their wages instead of listing to their needs, which necessitated escalating the tone and re-entering the new national strike.
