Morocco: workers at health sector receive the Ottoman government with a strike

Morocco – The health sector will witness a national strike next week that is expected to paralyze the the Kingdoms hospitals. It is expected that a large number of nurses, doctors, pharmacists, administrative assistants and others will participate. The National Health Union appealed to women and men of various health groups, nurses of different ages, specialties, doctors, pharmacists, dental surgeons, administrators, medical assistants, technicians, administrative assistants, technical assistants and certificate holders who are not integrated in appropriate class to participate in order to ensure the success of this struggle. The strike comes in order to pressure the Ministry of Health and the government to respond to the immediate demand of Moroccan nurses, to do a degree equivalent of the state nursing diploma, especially after the recognition of the Ministry of Higher Education of this diploma.”This large segment of women and men of health, which is about 15,000 licensed nurses’ graduates of the institutes of training in the field of health, according to the previous training system, from 1996 to 2015 deserves justice “Said Rahal Lahsini, deputy national writer of the National Health Union of the Moroccan Labour Union. On Monday, the health sector witnessed a protest following the police harassment of nurses participating in the vigil on 6 and 7 April in front of the Ministry of Health in Rabat, which left serious injuries in their ranks.
