Lebanon: Syrian workers protests to demand their rights

Lebanon – About 50 Syrian workers have been stranded on the Choueifat road in the direction of Khaldah, without them crossing the road protesting against the non-payment of their salaries two months ago. They work in an industrial establishment in the region.

Workers raised banners demanding their salaries and continued their sit-in until they were arrested. One of them said most of the workers were Syrian workers and only 20 were Lebanese, accusing their owners of exploiting the workers with not paying their salaries.
