Tunisia: Inoplast Company workers strike over the non-fulfilment of their demands

Tunisia – The workers of the institution Inoplast plastic industry protested against the failure to achieve a number of their professional demands and not being able to require their right to belong to a trade union by the management of their company.

The strike came after the union committee submitted several demands for months, but the management of the company did not respond to most of the demands that were negotiated, but continued to provoke trade union workers questioning the writer of the General Union on 3 occasions, and fabricating reasons aimed only at striking the right to trade union according to the Opinion of the striking workers.

 The demands of the workers, numbering about 100 workers, are the completion of the resumption of professional classification and adherence to occupational health and safety standards, especially in light of the recurrence of work accidents.
