BAHRAIN – Arab Trade union Confederation and General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions condemn the Attacks on the former Secretary-General of the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions the representative of executive office of the ArabTrade Union Confederation Mr. Salman and his son. Police are investigating after the rear window of his car was smashed by an unknown while it was parked by his house in Sar area. Also the car of his son, Mr. Louai, was also burned.
Members of the General Secretariat of the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions visited the former Secretary-General, Mr. Salman Al-Mahfouz, to check on him following the attack and expressed its full solidarity with him and their rejection of violence and condemnation of the exposure of national figures and cadres and especially trade unionist to violence
