The General Union of Community Employees of the Moroccan Union of Labour decided to enter into a national strike on February 28, accompanied by protest vigils.
It also condemned the fact that the Ministry of Interior continues to close the doors of dialogue and its insistence on issuing unilaterally laws. It also condemned the restrictions on trade union freedoms and the disregard of previously signed agreements, as well as the decline in a number of gains concerning additional hours, hard labour and final liquidation of the Moroccan Pension Fund, as well as passing the basic law for the public service.
