After the execution of a protest in front of their workplace last week, the staff and employees of the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company threatened to escalate and enter into various forms of protest up to the sectoral strike, denouncing the failure to reach a solution with the general management of the company regarding their pending demands, the most important of which is the organizational structure and appointments ,and the implementation of the agreements signed by the administrative party and trade unions.
The employees are asking foractivating of the committees to change the plans for the management and implementation sectors of 2016 and 2017, transferring the economy grant in the fourth tranche of each year and conducting the annual competitionfor upgrading from the management category to the frame category (2017).They askedto not violate the right of qualified candidates to promotion.
