Yemen -Contractors at the Office of the Secretariat and Work Sectors protested to demand their late salaries and food allowances similar to what has been paid for Public workers. The contractors called on the head of the secretariat to implement their promises to pay the contractors salaries and food allowances. The protesters called on the President Saleh al-Asmad to quickly implement their demands and issue strict instructions to the government and the head of the secretariat to demand them to pay their dues as well as what was paid to all the contractors in the administrative sector in the state. Protesters said they were continuing their vigil until all their salaries and food allowances are paid. The protesters confirm their adherence to their demands and said that they will take all escalatory measures in the case of non-implementation of their demands. The protesters demand that the secretariat not to delay the implementation of their legal and fair demands.
