Algeria: Naftal workers demand the departure of their manager

Algeria_ Workers of Nafthal institution organized a protest movement to demand the departure of Director General Hussein Rizo, against the background of what they described as poor management of institution and disregard of employees and recruitment of new staff members that are not efficient. The Secretary-General of the union branch at the level of public administration, Sufian Hilweh, said that all the workers in the 48 states are in solidarity with these demands, while stressing the importance of guaranteeing the right of citizens and customers to continue getting the services through the filling stations. We love Algeria and we love the institution and we do not seek to destroy it, he said. However, he stressed that they will escalate, launch a general strike and paralyze the sector in case of intransigence of the General Manager and not responding to the demand raised by the workers.
