Jordan: One dead and 30 injured in Irbid province

Jordan – Irbid Civil defense cadres dealt with an explosion of one of the large cylinders (Boiler) of the steam distillation in one of the ready-made clothes factories in Hassan Industrial city as a result of technical failure in the safety system. Sources in the Civil defense said that the incident led to the death of one worker of Indian nationality while  (30) other were injured  as a result of flying glass and exposure to water vapor from the windows. The same sources said that the injured were transferred to the Ramtha government hospital and the founding Kings hospital, all the injuries left the hospital except one who is being treated from burns of the second degree, pointing out that all injuries are foreign workers.
