Algeria – Algeria Post, Algeria Telecom and Mobilis workers called on the Minister of Post, IT and Communications, Hoda Faroun, to continue the reforms initiated at the level of their organization, especially those related to the decisions concerning the union of postal and information technologies workers. More than 3,000 workers signed a petition addressed to the countrys first judge, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, demanding the dismissal of the head of the Postal and Communications Federation, Mr. Mohamed Choulaq, the workers said that the deductions of their salaries, which was supposed to be transferred to the union have been transferred to different destinations and that their right was stolen and the money gone. Workers said that the strike that was called by the National Federation of Postal and Information and Communication Technologies Workers on Wednesday in front of the general headquarters, does not represent workers. The evidence is that only 450 people showed, mostly from non-postal sectors, indicating the bankruptcy of Sidi Said. The petition demanded the settlement of workers rights and improve work conditions,
