Bahrain – Bapcos independent Trade Union said the company is not taking its responsibilities toward the rights of more than 170 workers who had been transferred to work for Petroleum Development Company. The union affiliated to the Bahraini independent Trade Union demanded Bapcos executive management to solve the this problem as these workers are facing unknown future after the Petroleum Development Company decided to terminate their services. They also demanded the management to take action and get these workers their original jobs back at Bapco and respond to all the demands of workers, in accordance with the standards of Bahrain Labour Law and the Pension Fund, and to give them their equal right like their colleagues in the company without any deduction, as they pledges when they assigned these workers to work with Petroleum Development Company.
