Palestine: Israeli forces arrest Palestinian workers

Palestine – Israeli police officers arrested 27 Palestinian workers from the west bank and a taxi driver in Um El Fahem city, for entering without legal permits, including 11 workers who were arrested for the second time and some minors. The court is to consider extending their detention, in addition to a request to extend the period of detention of a taxi driver who is accused of driving them into the Green Line. The Israeli police said that the arrest of the Palestinian workers is part of “a campaign aimed at preventing them from entering the country without permits.” These campaign turned into a nightmare for Palestinian workers working in Arab towns and villages. The police arrest dozens of Palestinians who have entered the 48 territories to work and provide a living for their families.
