Algeria – Workers of the vocational training center in the state of Bejaia have demanded payment of their monthly salaries, which they have not received for three months. A workers representative said that the problem lies in the lack of an administrative worker who is responsible for preparing workers salaries after the resignation of the previous administration few months ago. “It has been three month since we received our monthly wages because of the absence of administrative workers who are responsible for preparing monthly workers salaries,” the worker said, pointing that they live difficult situation. He added that the local administration bears responsibility for this delay in paying workers wages, especially since most of them are family supporters. Officials in the sector are expected to meet workers representatives in the coming days to find a solution to the problem that worries workers and their families.
