Jordan – Dozens of electrical cables maintenance workers at private company, contracted by the Jordan Electricity Company protested in front of the company to demand employment in Jordan Electricity. The head of the General Union of Electricity Workers Ali Al-Hadid said that the union demands the employment of these workers in Jordanian Electricity Company.” He pointed out that the number of workers in technical workshops decreased significantly due to the large number of injuries, accidents and deaths, stressing that most of them do not have sufficient experience in dealing with electricity and did not receive any training, which puts them at risk.
