The workers of the National Road Maintenance Company (ENER) in “Nouakchott “rose slogans, yesterday, asking the governments request for the payment of their delayed salaries since last month, in addition to the compensation due to some of them.
This was during a protest rally organized by the workers inside the companys headquarters, which the government decided to integrate with the ATTM company of the National Company for Industry and Mines Asnim”. They also asked for the clarification of their future and the insurance of all their rights, as well as making the representatives of workers part in the company’s matters.
It is noteworthy that the government decided previously to eliminate the company on the grounds that it suffers from economic difficulties and financial deterioration due to accumulated debts and losses without explaining the reasons that led to this situation.
