Employees of public institutions and independent interests, including government hospitals, carry out an open strike in protest against the Prime Ministers generalization of the mechanism for the implementation of the law on the hierarchy of ranks and salaries
The decision of the Prime Minister, according to the unions, is against the constitution and laws and to the rules of equity, justice and the principle of equality, in front of the functional burdens and the violation of employees’ rights in public institutions and independent interests. Moreover, the shortening of the hours and the extra hours to the extent that prevents the institution from meeting the requests of citizens is a preparation to attack these institutions and accuse them of omission and weaken them to unload them from human cadres in preparation for privatization with the lowest prices.
The workers called on the government to cancel this circular immediately and to issue the implementing decrees for this series of public institutions, independent interests, government hospitals, water institutions, all public institutions and public authorities in public institutions, and to approve the series of ranks and salaries of social security users and the compatibility with the spirit of law.
