The trade union subsidiary of the National Union of Paramedics in” Mustafa Pasha”hospital decided to enter into a regular strike, three days a week from Monday to Wednesday, on a weekly basis in protest against the non-compliance with their basic demands.
The union is protesting against the lack of respect for thehospital unionists by hospital administrators, as well as the appointment and control of sub-directorates of paramedical activities at a time when a paramedic is supposed to take over this place.
It also called for the guarantee of the protection of trade unionists, who are subjected to continuous attacks by hospital administrations in many states, including ranks, the reconsideration of the vocational track, and the compensation of retirees with new appointments.
It is worth mention that the union announced that it will work on providing the minimum treatment and hospitalization services during the strike days and will not leave patients without treatment.
