The association of internalresidents decided to suspend the work of internal residents in all hospitals in Mauritania, starting from the beginning of this month to ask for the settlement of their legal situation and the status of the delayed salaries for two years, as well as, the integration into the public service and benefiting from the health insurance and the right to intern six months abroad.
The resident doctors accuse the Ministry of Health and Finance and the Faculty of Medicine for their procrastination in responding to their demands and resolve their situation, despite the intensive negotiations with the mentioned parties that did not reach any positive results.
