JORDAN— Public sector nurses will observe a work stoppage this week in protest against the salary restructuring plan, Jordan Nurses and Midwives Association (JNMA).
President of JNMA said that “they will address the Prime Minister, Abdullah Nsour calling for the resignation of officials as they are behind the mess inflicted at the ministry”.
He added that “if the government does not respond to demands of the union, we will strike after Eid al-Fitr holiday, and during the strike we will announce names of those officials”.
He noted that these officials have become an obstacle for the ministrys development and to achieve many of the nurses demands.
