PALESTINE— The Palestine General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU) has called for adopting the needed measures to prevent work-related deaths at the Israeli job market.
This call came following registering three work-related deaths among Palestinians while they were working on building sites.
In a letter sent to the ILO, the federation’s secretary general called for the organization to put pressure on the Israeli government and employers to implement the international resolutions to protect Palestinians at workplace.
