Private schools end service of 8,000 teachers during the summer holidays

JORDAN— A Social Security Corporation (SSC) official criticized some private schools that end services of teachers during  summer holidays, which deprives them of their  benefits, particularly deprive female teachers of their the maternity leave.

The SSC spokesman added that “ending teachers services during the school holidays, then stopping their salaries, and preventing them from benefiting from the security insurance will be reflected negatively on  their insurance rights”.
