JORDAN- Jordanian Minister of Labor, NidhalQatamin stated that MoL will not extend the April 25 deadline for migrant workers to correct their status.
In a press statement, Qatamin said that campaign to correct the status of migrant workers, along with all the previous campaigns, have not been political and do not target any particular nationality. He noted that such campaigns mark a chance to take advantage of facilities and exemption from fines awarded by the state in order to control the labor market, and to encourage migrant workers who overstay to correct their status within legal timeframe.
