Abbas criticizes the new civil service law

EGYPT— The labour and trade unions institution (Dar Alkhadamat) President, and member of the Human Rights National Council, Kamal Abbas, criticized the new civil service law, during a seminar held in Sohaj.

Abbas stressed that the new law came out of sudden, and ignored the views of 6.4 million state employees, since the law has been issued without dialogue. He added that the law came without limits, and it gives the direct managers authorities without restrictions.

He stressed that trade unions will counter the law and appeal to the Supreme constitutional Court.
