Palestine: workers’ village construction started, a tourist resort for workers

PALESTINE- The second session of Central Council of Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU) was opened under the slogan “Social security, the way towards social justice,” at the PGFTU headquarters central hall in Nablus.
In his welcome words, PGFTU Secretary-General, Shaher Saad, underscored the importance of council meeting at this sensitive time experienced by Palestinian national cause, in a manner that ensures PGFTU trade union democratic traditions.
Saad announced PGFTU plan to start building workers village on a land plot owned by PGFTU between two towns of Talozah and Yaseed located in the northeast of Nablus, which will provide more than (34 thousands) job opportunities early next May, in addition to purchase a tourist resort for trade union members and their families.
