Egypt: 18 killed and 82 injured in the 4th anniversary of January 25th Revolution

EGYPT- Eighteen people were killed, including a policeman and 82 others were injured in violence that occurred in the 4th anniversary of January 25th Revolution that toppled Hosni Mubarak’s regime, according to the Ministry of Health.
Four years after  revolution, Sisi’s opponents claimed that he raised a more authoritarian regime compared to Mubarak’s. They accused Sisi in suppressing all Islamic and non-Islamic opposition spectra.
It is noteworthy that since overthrow of Mohamed Morsi, police killed more than 1400 Islamist demonstrators and arrested 15000, mostly Islamists. Spread of repression even affected non-Islamic opposition, where dozens of activists were arrested, including prominent figures of the revolution of 2011.
