OPIWC will continue working to achieve better incentives for workers

KUWAIT— The Oil & Petrochemical Industries Workers Confederation (OPIWC) stressed that they will continue calling for incentives for workers in the sector and will not allow any party to deprive them their rights.
The confederation, however, welcomed the decision adopted by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation for distributing a percentage of cash incentives on workers for the gains achieved in the 2014/2015 financial year.
The confederation also explained that this is a result of the negotiations it had with the corporation’s management.
