JORDAN— Workers at Addustour Arabic daily newspaper in Jordan are mulling the possibility of submitting a “notice” to the Ministry of Labour indicating that they will embark on a work stoppage in the upcoming few days.
This move, they said, comes after the negotiations with the newspaper’s management have reached a deadlock, noting that they have not been paid for the past eight months.
.The workers also noted that there has been no progress to solve their issue and all concerned parties were not able of coming up with a solution to the newspaper’s financial crisis
