JORDAN— Around 200 of the Royal Jordanian (RJ) airlines employees protested on Saturday the airlines decision to terminate the services of their colleague Zuhair Maharmeh.
Protesters said the termination of their colleague’s service was an “arbitrary” decision.
Ahmad Awwad, president of the Air Transport Independent Union said RJ’s human resources management is violating the Jordanian labor law.
This, he added, affects the workers’ team work and creativity, in addition to affecting the company’s future and the national economy.
Due to “bad management”, he noted the government had to pay JD100 million to cover for the company’s losses.
