Saudi recruitment offices call for introducing the “blacklist” system

SAUDI ARABIA— Recruitment agencies in Saudi Arabia called for introducing a new system that imposes financial fines on employees and workers and not to issue new visas for employers who are listed on the “blacklists”.

They also called for not allowing the re-entry for up to five years of domestic workers whose names are mentioned on these lists.

They said there are some problems related to recruiting domestic workers due to certain behaviors by certain recruitment offices.

Meanwhile, the Ugandan government has stopped sending “domestic workers” to Saudi, six months after signing a MoU between the two countries.
