A group of unemployed stitch their mouths in protest against the employment policies

ALGERIA— A group of unemployed persons in Algeria protested and called on the head of the Employment Agency to resign, accusing him of delaying the employment process.

The protested persons have “stitched their mouths” to criticize authorities for ignoring their demands.

Protestors from the district of Warfala also called for equality in providing job opportunity for citizens and called for authorities to provide them with jobs.

They said, the head of the employment agency is “hiding” vacancies announced by companies that work in oil sector.

A committee that defends the unemployed rights has also issued a statement condemning violations to the employment process and calling on authorities to revisit employment policies.
