PALESTINE—The executive committee of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU) approved the final preparations needed for the 5th conference that will take place on 16 to 18 April.
PGFTU’s Secretary General Shaher Hamdan reviewed the latest preparations developed by the concerned committees and announced the federations’ readiness for organizing the conference.
He also reviewed the draft administrative report and the proposed committees to oversee the upcoming conference.
Suhail Khader, head of the federation’s international relations department said representatives of 28 world unions will take part in the opening session of the conference, in addition to government officials and employers.
