MAURITANIA— Fishermen in Nouadhibou, the economic capital of Mauritanis, renewed their protests, demanding their government to revisit the taxes system, describing them as “unfair”.
Protesting fishermen added the taxes system should be gradual, noting that they were not consulted when this system was drafted.
They also described their protest as “peaceful” with no relation to any political agenda as some claim.
