ALGERIA— The national organization for university certificate holders warned against the “provocative statements” targeting those employed on the contract basis, noting that the government entities rejected to renew hundreds of contracts.
In a statement it issued, the organization described the government’s latest decision as “provocative”, and will encourage them to take to the streets.
The government, recently, has rejected to renew hundreds of contracts for employees employed on the contract basis, as part of its austerity policy.
According to the organization’s statement there are more than one million employees who are employed based on this system, and austerity policies implemented by the government in 2016 will affect their lives.
They also called for introducing a law to protect this category.
