The Moroccan Workers’ Union (UMT) holds 11th Congress

MOROCCO— The Moroccan Workers’ Union (UMT) plans to hold its 11th Congress on Friday and Saturday at its central headquarter in Casablanca in conjunction with celebration of the march of 60 years of struggle and dedication.”

The conference will be attended by 2,000 trade unionists and 58 regional and local unions along with a number of UMT guests representing 60 trade union organizations and federations from different countries and continents.

The Congress will also be attended by ALO Director General, Ahmed Luqman and representative of ILO Director General in Geneva, as well as representative of ITUC Secretary-General, the largest international trade union organization.
