JTA criticizes minister for not listening to their demands

JORDAN— Jordan Teachers Association (JTA) said that the Minister of Education Mohammad Thneibat rejected to listen to demands of Aqaba governorates teachers.

These demands include what they call as the “chalk incentive” in addition to having a teachers’ club.

A statement issued by the syndicate said that minister was in a visit in Aqaba to talk about educational development, but at the same time rejected to listen to teachers’ demands, which led to chaos in the hall where the event was taking place.
