Five workers prevented entry to EPSCO

EGYPT— Security personnel prevented employees from entering the Egyptian Petroleum Services Company (EPSCO) noting that they were laid off.

The five involved workers said they have not received any notification from the company until October 13, and the company’s management rejected to respond to their inquiries on the reasons behind this decision.

Thus, they rejected to sign the notification. The five employees were appointed in 2012 and members of the workers in the petroleum sector syndicate.
