GFBTU elects a new secretariat

BAHRAIN— A new secretariat of 15 members was elected to run the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions (GFBTU).

The elections were conducted during the third GFBTU general conference, where 27 candidates were competing for the 15 seats.

Four women were among winning members that are Zeinab Abu Adeeb, Suad Mubarak, Najat Abdul Hussein and Khatoon Aradhi.
