Egypt: police prevents workers from protesting against passing the civil service law

Egypt – Security forces prevented Egyptian tax employees to build a mourning tent for a symbolic protest against the parliament for passing Civil Service law and sent it to the State Council for review.

Security forces sealed off Hussein Hegazy Street on both sides and blocked the passage of the protesters to the IRS to organize the protest, which angered the staff, while others succumbed to the instructions of the police and left the area.
